Rupsha is an award-winning Multi-Disciplinary Designer, Emerging Design Educator, and Emerging Design Researcher. Currently, she works as a Graduate Researcher at York University's Social and Technological Systems (SaTs) Lab, actively contributing to cutting-edge research. Rupsha just finished teaching an Illustration Course at Conestoga College. Alongside her role as a teaching assistant in the Department of Design at York University, Rupsha is pursuing her Masters of Design at York University.
Her research focuses on designing multi-modal prompts for individuals with early stage dementia aiming to enhance their quality of life through the integration of rituals and habits. Supported by a SSHRC grant, her work demonstrates a deep commitment to addressing societal needs.
Rupsha is widely respected for her genuine dedication to creating positive impact in the design community. With an interdisciplinary approach and an empathetic mindset, she develops meaningful solutions and strives to shape a better future through design education, research, and practice.
